Business Relocation Assistance

The City of Rochester's Economic Development Department has been working diligently with existing Midtown Plaza tenants to assist them with relocating either within downtown or elsewhere.

Rochester City Council has approved relocation costs for Midtown business owners for up to $5.5 million. This includes additional financial assistance that may be provided to those businesses relocating within the city. Additional assistance is being provided through a new Economic Development Department program entitled, "Midtown Business Retention Grant Program."

All tenants, with the exception of Clear Channel Radio, Trailways and Minuteman Press will have vacated Midtown by August 1. Click here for a list of Midtown tenants and their relocation status.
