Welcome to the official website of the Midtown Plaza redevelopment project. I believe that the revitalization of downtown begins at Midtown, for it occupies about 8 acres of our center city. We are taking advantage of a rare opportunity to reshape our Main Street and the city's skyline.

New York State is funding the clean up and demolition of Midtown Plaza and in its place will rise the new world headquarters of PAETEC Communications, bringing with it approximately 1,200 jobs. Many other exciting development opportunities will arise as a result of this project. PAETEC CEO Arunas A. Chesonis had opportunities to locate the company's headquarters elsewhere. He chose Rochester. He chose downtown.
