Midtown Plaza will officially close to the public at 6:00 pm on Friday, July 25, 2008.  This will impact access to and from the Midtown Garage for monthly key-card holders. Click below to view the access plan and map.

MIDTOWN GARAGE PARKING CUSTOMER RELOCATION PLAN

The Midtown Parking Garage will close on September 30, 2008. A parking relocation plan has been developed based on where monthly parkers work and their proximity to one of the following three relocation garages:

• Mortimer Street Garage (and its adjacent surface lot-opening September 1, 2008);
• St. Joseph's Garage; and
• East End Garage

Employees currently parking in the Midtown Garage and working in a building in one of the three color zones will be guaranteed a parking space in one of the above garages. If commuters choose to park at any other location (garage or surface lot), parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Red Zone parking is made up of the following buildings that will be guaranteed up to 700 monthly parking spaces at the Mortimer Street Garage and its adjacent surface lot:

• Granite Building;
• Alliance Building;
• Chase Tower;
• Clinton Square;
• Xerox Square;
• Excellus Building;
• Frontier/Three City Center Building; and
• One City Center Building

The Mortimer Street Garage, located at 65 N. Clinton Ave, will re-open on September 1, 2008. This garage is connected by the skyway to the MCC Damon City Campus and is a short walk to the identified buildings in this color zone. The Green Zone includes the following buildings that will be guaranteed up to 300 monthly parking spaces at the East End Garage:

• 50 Chestnut Building;
• Eastman School of Music
• HSBC Plaza Building;
• Miller Center;
• Neisner Building;
• N.Y. State Appellate Court;
• RG&E Building, 111 East Avenue;
• Rochester District Heating (RDH) Building;
• Sagamore Building; and

The East End Garage is located at 475 E. Main St., across from the Metro YMCA and the Eastman School of Music. It is a short walk to the identified buildings in this color zone. The Blue Zone is made up of the following buildings that will be guaranteed up to 300 monthly parking spaces at the St. Joseph's Garage:

• Bank of America Building;
• Reidman Building; and
• Triangle Building

The St. Joseph's Garage is located at 70 N. Clinton Ave. and is connected to the MCC Damon City Campus. It is a short walk to the identified buildings in this color zone.
